The Building
Van Rensselaer Heights is an apartment building in a quiet neighborhood just outside of Albany, New York. It is a seven story building with an EIFS exterior.
The Challenge
We were contacted to restore the exterior of an apartment building in upstate New York. The curb appeal was starting to decline resulting in a run down looking exterior that didn’t match the overall condition of the property. We were also tasked with updating and modernizing the aesthetics of the seven story apartment building. Time was against us as winter was rapidly approaching.
The Solution
New EIFS bump outs were installed. We repainted and recoated the entire apartment building using lifts. We also replaced all the old caulking and resealed any potential water intrusion area.
The Result
The Van Rensselaer Heights apartment building was completely transformed. It is like looking at a totally new building. It is amazing what some detail work and a color change can do to update a building.
