The Building

An office building in the northeast corner of West Virginia that is part of the West Virginia University School of Medicine campus.

The Challenge

We faced two major challenges while completing this project. The managers of the CDC/NIOSH building contacted us to clean the stained precast on the exterior of the building but set a very tight deadline. Additionally, our crew of restoration experts were forced to use boom lifts and bosun chairs. Normally we would use swing stages suspended from from the rooftop.

The Solution

In order to refurbish the building’s exterior precast to a like new condition we used our Stone Restore line of products to clean the panels and our LeachStop product to protect from future staining.

The Result

Our skilled technicians were able to clean and seal the entire exterior of the building within the client’s tight budget and constant scrutiny. The result is a refreshed looking building that will continue to look great for many years to come.
