THE BUILDING

The Taylor Building is the headquarters of Taylor Fresh Foods. It is located in downtown Salinas, California, a charming city just south of San Francisco. This three-story commercial office building is a prominent feature of the city.

THE CHALLENGE

The building’s exterior was stained and looked really dirty due to not being sealed during construction. The minerals from the concrete also leached onto the windows and stained the glass. This made the building look really old and run down. 

THE SOLUTION

Thanks to our extensive knowledge of precast and GFRC we were able to find a cleaning solution that completely removed the stains without damaging the surface. We also found the best way to clean the windows and their frames. We then sealed the concrete so it will resist staining and won’t stain the surrounding surfaces or windows. 

THE RESULT

When we were done cleaning and sealing the building it looked as good as new. There were no more stains anywhere on the exterior. Thanks to our LeachStop stone sealing product, the building will continue to look great for years.
