The Building

The MedStar Health Building is an office and medical building located on the north side of Baltimore, Maryland. It’s a great looking commercial building with a unique glass exterior envelope. 

The Challenge

The main hurdle our team of commercial building restoration experts encountered was the sheer amount of deteriorating caulking that needed to be addressed. In order to provide our client with an accurate scope of work and ensure they were completely happy with our solution we completed a thorough walk through before beginning the project. 

The Solution

Wet glazing was used to ensure a watertight seal for all the commercial glass that makes up the exterior of the building. Wet glazing is a durable and cost effective process that does not require removing the glass panels. This is safer, less time consuming, and does not disrupt the daily activities of the tenants. 

The Result

In one month we were able to completely reseal the exterior of the building. The MedStar building now looks as good as ever and will no longer be subject to water intrusions, pests, or air leaks.
